Members of the BeyHive are left seriously re-evaluating their lives after realising last night that Beyoncé is NOT flawless.
The reaction came after the fan site Beyoncé World published more than 200 unretouched photos of Bey that show her skin to be… normal. The photos were taken in 2013 as part of a L’Oréal ad campaign shoot. They seem to have been taken under extremely harsh lighting and with Beyoncé wearing a lot of make-up, so her skin looks a bit sweaty, and she has a few pimples here and there. No big deal, right? WRONG.
BeyHive members were so incensed by the implication that Beyoncé is a (shock, horror!) human woman that they took to Twitter to criticise the site for publishing ‘fake’ images.
Yall will find any way to taint Beyoncé’s image & will find that everytime yall do, it will be a fail. So just DEAL & ACCEPT her greatness 😌

Photoshopping pics of Beyoncé to make her look bad won’t change the fact that you look like a warthog on meth but yall have fun with this. — Queensleyyoncé ❤️ (@Queensleyy) February 18, 2015
I have seen Beyoncé in person. What she looks like in pictures is what she looks like in real life. Those “leaked” pictures are fake. — BeyoncéStan (@stan4yonce) February 18, 2015
I’ve reported those leaked Beyoncé pictures to the FBI — bourgeoisophie (@bowiescheekbone) February 18, 2015
After facing the wrath of the BeyHive for only an hour, the site took down the photos and issued an apology for insinuating that Queen Bey might be just like the rest of us:
Due to the disdain of the BeyHive, we have removed the photos. We don’t want to cause any drama, nor do we wish to start fan wars. Some of the things we have seen posted were just horrible, and we don’t want any parts of it. We were just posting the photos to share the fact that our queen is naturally beautiful, at the same time she is just a regular woman.
Beyoncé hasn’t officially commented on the situation but there is this:
