If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been waiting impatiently for Michelle Obama’s memoir, Becoming, to launch. But what you may not have known is that the former FLOTUS is launching a clothing line alongside it.
Yep, you’ll be able to read the book while wearing a jumper emblazoned with Michelle’s most famous motto, ‘When they go low, we go high.’
The merch, which includes a T-shirt, hoodies and even baby onesies and mugs, ranges from $30 (about R420) to $65 (about R910) and rest assured: all proceeds go to Global Girls Alliance, Michelle’s charity that fights for girls’ education around the world.
As if we needed another reason to love Michelle Obama. Oh, and we’ll also leave you with Barack’s review of her memoir: ‘Of course, @MichelleObama’s my wife, so I’m a little biased here. But she also happens to be brilliant, funny, wise – one of a kind,’ he posted alongside a photo of his wife’s memoir. ‘This book tells her quintessentially American story. I love it because it faithfully reflects the woman I have loved for so long.’
Tell us about it.
