The Golden Globes is one of our favourite awards shows. Not only can we count on some outrageous celebrity moments, but it also officially opens awards season, setting the bar for Oscar speculation. Of course, we’ve got our eagle eyes trained on the red carpet for those celebs who do (and don’t) get it right .

As with most awards shows, this year’s Golden Globes showcased the best, weirdest and worst in red carpet fashion for us to gawk over but there were some essential trends to take note of.
