Men’s fashion is having a big moment right now. What with Thom Browne creating his usual world of fantasy, and the gorgeous royal-esque creations by Dolce&Gabbana recently, it’s been a non-stop feast for the eyes. But nothing could’ve prepared us for when South African creative duo FAKA posted a picture of themselves hanging out with the doyenne of Italian fashion, Donatella Versace. The pic was snapped at the unveiling of the Versace menswear spring/summer 2019 collection. But FAKA weren’t just hanging out in the Frow – they created the show’s runway music, setting the tone for the entire event and beautiful collection.
FAKA was formed in 2015. Since then, Fela Gucci and Desire Marea have travelled the world in various capacities: as fashion influencers, music makers and performance artists. Stunning as the Versace collection was, it was FAKA who stole the show with their music.
