At New York Fashion Week, designer Christian Siriano dazzled the world with his spring/summer 2018 show. As has come to be expected from the American designer, his clothes were beautiful and on point. But what really brought his clothes to life was the beautiful line-up of models. His show was a celebration of diversity, and we’re loving it.

Models of every shape, colour and gender walked in Christian’s gorgeous creations. In the line-up there was model royalty: plus-sized models Marquita Pring, Candice Huffine and Precious Lee walked the spring collection along with supermodels Coco Rocha and male models Austin K and Joel Wolfe.

We’re absolutely in love with yellow this summer, so this incredible gown really stood out.

Male model Austin K wowed the audience when he made his appearance on the catwalk:

We love the way the material drapes on her frame and this soft shade of green is everything!

The models looked dreamy in Christian’s creations. We love the metallic floral print on this long-sleeved dress:

When Christian won Project Runway back in 2008, he was the youngest contestant to ever do so. Since then, there’s been no stopping this young designer, who has to date dressed some of the biggest names in the industry. Solange Knowles, Victoria Beckham and Rihanna are only a few of his clients, and he’s also styled celebrities at events, including the Oscars.

Christian has a creative platform most people would kill for, which makes his inclusive and diverse show really exciting for fashion.
