HER BLOG: KARLASCLOSET. BLOGSPOT.COM
‘It’s about the things I love to wear, my inspirations, adventures and thoughts on style.’
WHY A BLOG?
‘I started my blog, Shop Karla’s Closet, about three years ago. At the time I was recuperating from a bad knee injury and was spending a lot of time on the computer. I think the internet moves really fast, and blogging is just a huge trend right now. I don’t really think about where I hope to take my blog in the future. I’m just focusing on creating unique content and working with brands and designers I support.’
HOW DO YOU MONETIZE YOUR BLOG?
‘I do ad campaigns with different companies, one being American Apparel, with whom I have worked since the beginning days of my blog.’
WHO TAKES YOUR blog ’s BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHS?
‘Everyone always thinks it’s my boyfriend because I guess a lot of boyfriends take bloggers’ photos, but it’s actually my dad!’ tell us more about your e-commerce venture ‘My vintage e-boutique is called Shop Karla’s Closet. It’s an on-line shop where readers can buy some of the stuff I’ve worn on my blog.’
