Combine the most beautiful little spot with 60 incredible live acts, the opportunity to escape city life with your best friends AND the chance to wear glitter all over your face
and you get …  Jägermeister presents the Republic of Mieliepop 2017, of course.

We cannot wait to attend this festival from 17 to 20 March. It’s really quite special, owing largely to its intimacy and finely curated music line-up. There’s the option of staying for the full festival, coming along just for the day or even participating in the Yoga Festival next door. There are also mountain biking tracks, plenty to do and see, and you can drink your way into the sunset listening to some good tunes. Here’s what we’re looking forward to:

The super-lush surrounds

Just take a look at this fantastic landscape filled with green grass, shady trees and crystal pools. Looks like heaven, right?

The rave cave

Because, in life, you need to have a good boogie once in a while. And what better way to boogie than in a lit-up cave, listening to the funkiest beats by Thor Rixon, Ella G, Benson and Rudeone, and way more.

The line-up

Mieliepop boasts some of the best local bands and DJs, all together in one place. The acts at this festival are not only super-talented, they’re also diverse, so when we say there’s something for everyone, we mean it.

The camping

We’re used to roughing it at music festivals, because that’s what they’re there for right? However, Mieliepop likes to spoil us. They’ve got hot showers, plug points for making sure your phone is fully charged (for all those selfies) and even the option to stay in the tented hotel, Maizey Stray.
