Our Badass Women issue focuses on South African women rewriting the rules for success, and we asked influential author, columnist, former TV and radio presenter Redi Tlhabi to be our guest editor.

Redi has long been an advocate for women’s rights and empowerment, and is a fiercely badass woman herself, making her the perfect person to guest edit the issue. From the miniskirt march protesting against sexist taxi drivers in 2008 and the 2015 #FeesMustFall march to the Union Buildings, to her latest book, Khwezi: The remarkable story of Fezekile Ntsukela Kuzwayo, Redi strives to start important conversations and thrives on being part of South Africa’s evolution.

The April 2018 issue is all about women’s empowerment, and with Taraji P. Henson as our coverstar, Badass Women will shine a light on a motivational group of women and leaders in their fields, imparting their wisdom with inspirational quotes.

‘You won’t want to miss the April issue of Marie Claire. Apart from the fantastic cover, there are stories that will touch you, that will inspire you. You’ve got a lot to look forward to. I’m not going to give the game away, but the April issue, don’t miss it!’ says Redi.
