When Nandi Madida announced that she would debut her clothing line ‘Colour’ at New York Fashion Week 2018, we knew that she would deliver. The TV host (and now fashion designer) absolutely nailed her debut on 10 February, and we’re pretty sure this will be the start of something very big.

Early in January, Nandi announced on Instagram that she had been invited to showcase her clothing line at the Oxford Fashion Studio for NYFW. The collection is undeniably modern and chic but what we love most is its strong African aesthetic, with bold colours and patterns as the motif throughout.

Nandi first gave the world a glimpse of her clothing line when she arrived at the 2016 BET Awards in a beautiful monochrome gown.

Hopefully NYFW will become a regular gig for Nandi, because of this year was anything to go by, there are big things in store for her. Look out for her range of power suits that will be launching worldwide towards the end of March 2018.
